Canvas
by Rakeda Akasha

Blank canvas
Carved into what
We believe is perfection

Colors to cover up, in
Different hues, what
Can only be described
As deception

Synthetic hair, cut
To a length down her back,
What we say is just right

Eyes the color of vanity
To forever curse their sight

Teach her how to get
What she wants with the
Sway of her hips

How to tempt the opposite
Sex with the kiss of her lips

Show her how to wear outfits, in
Which, she can barely breathe

How to move seductively so
Men will bow to her knees

Describe to her how to
Wear make-up so she looks
Twice her age

Then show her how to conform
To peer pressure and never inquire
Her ways

Put her in high heels and
Send her out into the world

Today magic was made,
For we have created
The perfect girl
